Controls

  • Move & jump: Use the left/right arrow keys or A/D to move, and press Space to jump. P or Esc pauses the game.
  • Handle the candy bucket: Tap F to pick up or set down the bucket. While you’re carrying it, press E to deposit candy from your hand.

  • Aim & throw: Hold Right Mouse Button or Shift to enter aim mode; release the same button—or click Left Mouse Button while aiming—to throw the bucket along the aiming line.

  • Recall: Press R to warp back to the bucket’s location. Doing so briefly freezes and slows you, and puts the recall on cooldown.

How to play

  1. Collect candy: Run through candy pieces to pick them up; the bucket also scoops up candy it touches. You can carry up to 10 pieces yourself, and the bucket can store 30. Be careful, the bucket gets heavier every 10 pieces!

  2. Manage inventory: Press E near the grounded bucket—or while carrying it—to dump candy from your hands into the bucket.
  3. Use Bank Stations: Stand in or interact with a Bank Station to automatically deposit any candy you’re holding (and everything in the bucket) into the Home Bank. Stations can also set a new checkpoint for the bucket when configured to do so. The arrow points to the nearest Station.
  4. Reach the goal: Every piece deposited into the Home Bank increases the global total; once that total matches the level’s target, the run ends in victory.
  5. Avoid hazards: Taking hazard damage warps you back to the bucket’s position (or its last checkpoint), drops anything you were carrying, and resets your momentum. Don't lose the bucket!

Keep the candy flowing from the map to your Bank Stations (TVs) while keeping an eye on your carry limits, and you’ll clear the level once every candy has been safely banked.

I like the game, the only thing is maybe fewer total candies because it was a lot of jumping in the same area just to collect all of the candies. Instead, another challenging platforming or something. Thanks for checking out my game as well.

I'll have to admit, I was running out of time when I designed the map.  I figure if I keep improving the game the post jam version is going to have better refined maps.  Thanks for the suggestion!

Man I wish I had time to do a better job with the controlls/instructions.

Tips: 

Recalling (R) to your basket is how you handle some of the platforming, use it to your advantage.

Sometimes it's faster to just throw the basket then walk to the candy.

You can deposit candy by yeeting the basket onto/across the tv.

You can recall while the basket is traveling.

You should explain the controls through the game not the description of the game and i could not go to the third tv thing

I wanted to but ran out of time, I had a music bug that was hard to fix and had to make a judgment call on either figuring out how to put in instructions or go without the background music.  I might polish this some more after the jam and add that in, though.  I'll note it down though, thanks!

When you said you could not go to the third tv thing, was it not working, or you couldn't reach it?
